Abstract:
[spa] Este trabajo es una investigación sobre los fenómenos de contacto de lenguas que aparecen en la clase de italiano lengua extranjera en las actividades realizadas en subgrupos por estudiantes adultos en un contexto bilingüe catalán y castellano en la ciudad de Barcelona. El propósito de esta tesis es investigar la iteración que generar las actividades realizadas en parejas o en pequeños grupos pero centrándose en el uso que los estudiantes hacen de las lenguas, la lengua meta, la L1 y la L2, y pretende averiguar cuando aparecen estas marcas transcódicas y la función que tienen en el discurso producido en el aula. La tesis está estructurada en ocho capítulos, el primer capítulo es una introducción. En el segundo capítulo se revisan las corrientes teóricas que se refieren a la alternancia de lengua en un contexto social y sobre todo en un contexto de alternancia/aprendizaje. Además se revisan otros campos de investigación que nos han resultado indispensables para tener un cuadro general sobre la interacción en el aula. En el tercer capítulo, se formulan las preguntas y las hipótesis de investigación que guían este trabajo. En el cuarto capítulo, se hace una descripción del contexto de estudio. Se parte de una revisión de la situación de la lengua italiana en el mundo para luego centrarnos en nuestro contexto, es decir el contexto bilingüe de Barcelona. Seguidamente, se describe el contexto universitario y de los grupos en concreto que fueron estudiados, prestando atención a las creencias de estos estudiantes sobre el italiano y las lenguas en general, datos recogidos a través de unos cuestionarios, diarios y entrevistas. En el capítulo quinto, presentamos la metodología seguida en este estudio. Antes se presentan los conceptos clave de la investigación etnográfica y luego se describen los métodos y el proceso de recogida de los datos, así como del modelo de análisis utilizado para esta investigación. En el capítulo sexto, aparece el análisis de los datos. Se trata del capítulo más extenso de esta tesis, ya que incluye las transcripciones de los segmentos seleccionados de las grabaciones, que van acompañadas del análisis descriptivo e interpretativo de estos datos. La estructuración de este capítulo es por segmentos analizados, cuya transcripción y análisis es precedida por una descripción de la actividad y es seguida de una primera síntesis del análisis. En el capítulo séptimo, se presentan los resultados obtenidos y las categorías encontradas y se procede a la discusión de tales resultados contrastándolos con los estudios revisados en el estado de la cuestión y con las preguntas e hipótesis de la investigación. Finalmente, en el capítulo octavo, recogemos las principales conclusiones extraídas de este trabajo de investigación y se señalan algunas posibles perspectivas didácticas que pueden abrirse a partir de este trabajo. ; [eng] This work presents a research on the language contact phenomenon that appears in the Italian FL classroom during peer and small group activities. The context is particular because the courses take place in the city of Barcelona in a bilingual region where Catalan and Spanish are spoken (both languages are very close to Italian). In this thesis we want to research the interactions generated by these peer or small group activities but focusing on the use of LS, L1 or L2 the students make. We also want to find out when the code-switching and other language contact phenomenon appears and the function they have in classroom generated discourse The thesis consist of in eight chapters. The first is the introduction. In the second is a revision of the literature on code-switching in a social context and especially in a learning/teaching context. Furthermore, other research fields are investigated as they were essential to have a general view on classroom interaction. In the third chapter, research questions and hypotheses of this work are described. In the fourth chapter, is the description of the context. First of all, there is a description of the situation of the Italian language in the world and then we focus on the bilingual context in Barcelona. Afterwards, we describe the university context and the groups we studied, with special attention to students' beliefs on Italian and other languages in general. This data was collected by means of a questionnaire, some diaries and interviews. In the fifth chapter, we present the methodology used in this study. We describe the key concepts of ethnographic research and after we go on to describe the methods and the process of collecting data, the analysis model used for this study. In the sixth chapter, there is the data analysis. This is the most extensive chapter, which includes the transcriptions of the selected fragments of the recorded activities with the descriptive and interpretative analysis of the data. This chapter consists of the analyzed fragments preceded by the description activities and followed by a summary of the analysis. In the seventh chapter, we present the results and the categories found and what follows is the discussion of these results contrasted with the studies revised in the state of the art in chapter two and the research questions and hypotheses. Finally, in the eighth chapter, are the conclusions and we suggest some teaching perspectives.
